We need to go to the shops today for bread, milk etc as we did not get out at all yesterday, we are in east meath and the roads look awful, there is so much snow outside our house, even going to the shop is a bit daunting!

if you are going out later take it very easy…or if you can, maybe wait a day or two until it settles down and is safer. it seems to get worse in the evening as the temperature drops, so please be very careful.

they are still saying only to go out if absolutely necessary, so if we were not low on the essential food stuffs, would not cross the door.

although it does not seem so bad in other places my mam is in Balbriggan and the snow has mostly melted there…however they said on radio that the east coast, including drogheda is still very bad
