I have to go from Bettystown to Dublin early tomorow (around 7am),
    How bad is it?
    Afraid at the Julianstown bridge.
    All info welcome.

We drove through Julianstown this evening and there was no problem at all.

    Thanks.

I even set my alarm at 4am so I can look at the window and check.
It’s so stressfull to have to drive in those conditions, but have no choice tomorow. Then I’ll drive again in june 😆 it should be snow free by then, and kids will be heading of to summer hol after being on a 4 months break from school closure due to winter conditions (who could suppose winter means winter conditions 😆 )

At least it’s going to be a white christmas.

    Fabienne,

The road from Laytown to Julianstown is better than the road through Bettystown, that Piltown road is treacherous. Avoid that one if you can.

We drove through Laytown to get out yesterday, it was not too bad that way.

Take it slow and go easy and you’ll be ok. xx

It was ok this morning in jULIANSTOWN.
Our ice skating ring in bettystown area is there!
now I read about no grit.
Yes, our kis will go back to school sometime before may if it keeps that way.

I do love this country but I’m so mad at the moment.
The economy is not in great form, do they think leaving kids with schools closed and people not able to go to work will cost less to the country than few bags of gritt for us to make the economy going.

Fabienne the Airport is now closed due to very heavy snow this evening, so you are very lucky that you got out this morning
