The River Boyne froze over yesterday for the first time ever.

However experts are warning that it is not safe to walk or skate on it. (That may sound like common sense but with the way some people in this country behave its no wonder they have to say it!)

If anyone could post some picture.
When people ask me about Ireland, I say I like the weather it’s nerver too hot or too cold.
Now I’ll have to change my answer 😆 😆

I can’t believe how bad it is.

By the way there is NO SNOW in the Pyrennees, french mountain between France and Spain.

On Monday I saw bits of ice on the river, it was weird looking at large pieces of ice floating down the river.

    Here is a pic from the Irish Examiner : http://www.examiner.ie/breakingnews/ire … 86758.html

Hard to believe it froze over, now they are saying we are in for floods when it all starts to thaw and melt. 🙁

Fabienne if you go to the RTE player, you will see the video footage of the frozen river…..
You were very very lucky to get out Fabienne, thousands stranded and it doesnt look like they will make it home as the airport is closed until after 11pm!!!
The Buses will run on Christmas day they said most people wont get flights into dublin until xmas day so running buses to make sure they get home, great to see some joined up thinking for once
