RTE’s The Consumer Show is returning for a fourth series and is looking for Irish families to take part in a challenge to reduce their food waste.

Do you throw out the last few slices of bread in a sliced pan? Or find soggy vegetables languishing at the bottom of the fridge? Or throw away leftover rice and pasta every night? If so we want to talk to you!

Irish families waste 30% of the food we buy and we want to help a family to change their wasteful habits and save money in the process.

We will supply an expert to offer tips and advice to help a family change their ways and will follow the families’ progress over a couple of weeks.

If you are interested in taking part please contact Kathriona at kathriona@cocotelevision.ie or 01 2084635.

There is a topic about this going already on Mumstown that might help Katrina, see here: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=16939
