raising funds for children hospitals

i am sure you have heard about raising funds for children hospitals. on this site one can donate min €10 using laser or credit card.

the annoying thing is that "The processing bank (AIB) charge a percentage fee of 2.5%" (on t&c ). they could have shown some class by not doing so.

having had numerous visits to olol hospitals fifth floor i think it is much better to actual give something to the ward ie toys or even a recliner chair – really needed when staying over – as its hard to know where the money you donate actually goes
