This is an incredible story, a mum of four who is 6 months pregnant, jumped into an icy river after her 10 year old special needs son who slipped in. She was out with her 4 children and when her son fell in to the river, she jumped into save him.
Then, she got into difficulty and a passer by, who they had never met, pulled them out.
It must have been terrifying for them all but thankfully all are well – so its a feel good read about a mother’s love and the kindness and heroism of a stranger:
