    Hi there
I’m looking to start a family, and have waited until now as I suffer from Epilepsy and wanted to get my dosage down to a minimum before getting pregnant.
I’m taking Epilim (sodium Valporate) and have heard lots of stories about the medicine affecting the unborn child, and lots of stories where the child has been fine.
The dosage I’m currently on is 1000mg daily (500mg X2) but would like to get that reduced to maximum 600mg while pregnant if possible.
Are there any others out there who have any stories they could share regarding their experiences with epilepsy & pregnancy, from the pregnancy itself, to the type of care needed (public/private), any complications during or after the child is born etc..
    thanks a mill
