Dear Mumstown members
I would just like to draw your attention to a petition that has been started by a group of mammies in protest at any cuts to child benefit.
We would love your help – please go to http://www.childbenefit.info and sign our online petition, we are also looking for volunteers to help us collect signatures from people on the ground (those without internet access, grandparents etc) and this week we ran a (clean unused) nappy/protest letter campaign to the Taoiseach asking him not to touch child benefit.
The group also have over 2,000 members on Facebook – search under group name PACUB (Protest Against Child Unfriendly Budget) we need your support as we are just voluntary are giving our time – I am 38 weeks pregnant tomorrow so am looking for others to carry the torch.
