Last Wednesday’s Xpose programme featured Ovelle Coconut Oil as one of their Beauty Fix product. Top Beauty Expert Triona McCarthy from Beaut.ie recommended the Ovelle Coconut Oil asher favourite product to use on the ends of dry hair as a serum. Due to the molecules in the coconut oil are so small that it will penetrate the hair.
Coconut Oil sets when at cool temperature and when heated it will go to a liquid – even just the heat of your hands will be enough to melt it. As more intensive treatment put a small amount into a bowl and pop into the microwave for a few minutes and then put it through the hair and wrap in a towel over night and wash out in the morning to leave the hair soft and conditioned.
Coconut Oil is available in pharmacies nationwide.
