Ok guys past the first two weeks…thank God!

How is everyone getting on, thanks to Happymammy – I’ve stepped up the sit-ups and circuit training – tough but beginning to feel the results.

We went skating tonight, great laugh and a very good workout – reminded a certain evil admin of his footie days when he actually ran around without starting a heart attack.

Please share your stories, what do you think of this weeks menu?

Had a difficult time yesterday with the exercises….
Don’t like my new set either…. only managed one set of 20 of each, and I’m sore today. I think if I had done 3, I would be crippled this morning!
Did lots of hula hoop on the wii last night… so better than nothing.

Been up through the night with two sick kids… temperatures and the like… oh, the joys. Its going to be a looooonnnnnnnnnnnggggggggg day!

Enjoyed the Nicoise (however you spell it) salad last night….
BUt having my favorite tonight…. the barbeque salmon pasta… LOVE that!

I am struggling…. just seem to keep thinking about food ALL THE TIME!!!! And when DH is away, I have alot more time on my hands and usually I would eat!
Have to do the reps today, so will let you know later how I get on with them… going to do some of an exercise dvd too… and lots of sit ups!

Not mad about the new menus, too much curry stuff! Think I will be having plenty of salads this week!

having my soup with brown bread! Feel as weak as a kitten so no dance class tonight…. not holding out for even2 Ibs this weekend…. but maybe I might be surprised

Looked quickly at the menu, sounds much nicer more variety.
    I’m happy.

Did not even look at the exercices. I gave up those a while ago. Now I go to the gym more and they really push me to my limits when I do a class.
And when I just go outside classes I do a bit of everything, so I guess it’s ok.

Next time I’ll go with my OT prog and they’ll look at it and give me advices and/ or will personalise it for me.
They’ll talk to us if we want to, after the boot camp to answer questions, give advices and all.
They did not do it before as they didn’t want to interfere with the OT prog, but when I told Michael about not seing the fitness expert from RTE, he says he’ll help us if we ask him.
They genuily (sp) are good to everyone who want to improve their fitness level.
If anyone wants to join a gym (they’ll help us OT even if not members) I’ll recomend it.

Did some arm weights stuff on saturday, still sore in my arms.

So back to week 3 :
    good so far.

Who can teach me how to write short post? And teach me english as the same time

    😉

    Take care,
    Fabienne

I think your english is great..

i think the op trans programme is very weight based, think the more muscle you have the more cals your body burns

Taylor I’m clinging to that hope now – I don’t think I’m losing much weight at the moment, however some of that enormous gut is turning into a bit of muscle.

Took admin jnr to his football last night and jogged 7 perimeters of a football pitch, his footie mates are calling me "Jogger Dad".

Just done 20 odd mins on the exercise bike – half way through I wondered was amputation a more pleasurable option. Followed by 110 situps, again that one is thanks to Happymammy – will have to do the remaining 90 later on, followed by my 34th consecutive heart attack.

More stories from everyone please – including ones from those not on the show, have met loads of people who are following the Leaders and trying their individual routines, walked briefly with a couple this morning who shared their joys of pasta, spinach and ricotta – very funny but great to hear others are sharing the pain!

I crawled onto the bike last night and struggled to do 5k! took me over 10 mins so nothing amazing… did one rep of Annas routine (should have been 3) but did do extra squats and about 150 to 200 sit ups….. I have karen doing them 😆 😆 😆 😆

Admin did you see Ronaldo does 2000 sit ups a day 😯 he has an 8 pack! So keep up the hard work….

    Hi there….
Taylor – sorry to hear that there is still alot of sickness in your house! But you are fantastic for getting any exercise in at all!!

I’m finding it hard with the food…. and I know the problem, I am not prepared… have been doing just ok but just worried for Saturday…. Having a very busy week with E in panto and DH away, so not much of a break to do exercise!

However I have upped the sit ups too!!!

Admin, sounds like you are doing great!

I did that Rosemary Conley Fat attack DVD again today. 56 minutes and then I was in a heap on the floor after it. It seems easy enough when you’re doing it but I was in bits Monday after doing it Sunday and I had to have a bath for a soak after it today!!

I’m not being great with the food this week, I was getting a bit bored with the recipes but am not eating any junk so hopefully will be ok on Saturday. I think the exercise is helping me and if I can keep that up, then I am hoping to be ok weight wise for the scales….

Although, as muscle weighs more than fat maybe we will only lose a small amount of weight as we are building muscle?

Hope we do well Saturday but we need to remember this is a lifestyle change and not a race to lose weight, I’m taking my time and trying not to worry too much about the targets. 😀

Im not worried about the targets but havng them there are a good reason not to slack off… Sabbi i know muscle weights more then fat but you would have had to have had muscle there in the first place to have muscle so quick…. The likes of Admin and myself (from my swimming years) or anyone who would have worked out alot…. I can feel the muscle starting to tone in my legs and arms not on my belly though, cant feel through the fat 😆 😆 😆
Sabbi Epsom Salts are brilliant in the bath… they are great for zapping fluids from you body… we should all take a big salt bath before the weigh in

I forgot about op trans this week 😳 Im putting it down to being sick 😆 🙄 So i missed us 😳 I did 10k on the bike while watching the show then 2 reps of my new routine (much easier then last weeks one so might get to like them) and 400 sit ups on the Abshaper ( i know its kinda cheating so I do extra)
