    Hi everyone,

    Just to let you know that OLOL is moving to evidence based practices for induction of labour this week (international best practice)

    The hospital is recommending 14 days before inducing labour.

    This is recommended by the WHO for women having normal pregnancies.

    Thats great news, I was induced +3 days and had to get a section, which I put down to the induction

    Just a reminder !! The new guideline is 14 days – not 10 !!

    If you’re told 10 and you want to reduce your chances of a cesarean (especially if you’re a first time mum) ask for the new guideline of 14 – chances are you probably won’t get to 14 anyway 😀
