    This is the email I got from my aunt this morning, after we had treated her to a facial at the new beauty salon, Uniquely U, in Swords last week. Thought I would share it, nice to see something positive…and definitely somewhere we will get gift vouchers for again.

    "When you gave me a voucher to go along to Ultimately U unisex beauty therapy salon for a Dermalogica Prescriptive Facial I jumped at the chance.

    The salon, which is located down a side street off the main street in Swords, is unfortunately a bit out of the way, but when I went onto the website prior to my visit it gave me a directional map!

    Jane Bilton welcomed me into a lovely warm and comfortable reception area, where she asked me to fill in an information sheet which would establish what kind of facial would best suite my skin type. This is a procedure that Dermalogica recommend for a first time user of their products. We also went through any allergies I might have and any concerns I had in relation to my skin.

    So having filled in the forms and established the facial that would best compliment my skin type Jane brought me into the therapy room. It was a freezing cold day outside but it was lovely and cosy in the therapy room and when I lay down on the bed to start my treatment I was in for a lovely surprise as Jane had placed a warming blanket on the bed, which kept me nice and toasty throughout the treatment!

    Jane explained what she was going to do, she asked did I have any questions or queries and then she suggested I relax and enjoy the experience, which I did. It was filled with fabulous smells, textures, and Dermalogica products which led me to unwind and totally benefit from the experience.

    I liked Jane’s approach which is very relaxed but completely competent and professional. I also liked that she didn’t push any products on me after my facial, which I have experienced in other salons.

    Would I go back, yes absolutely, and like Jane’s regular clients once you locate her salon you won’t need directions again as you won’t forget where it is!!
