    I could not believe when I heard this today – the maternity ward in Portlaoise hospital had renovation work going on in the middle of the night!!

    So you had new mums and their babies trying to sleep and mum-to-be in labour, trying to get some rest, all while there was hammering and drilling going on.

    Have you ever heard anything so mad?? Only in Ireland….
