Morning ladies,
I’m planning the new "big boys bedroom" for DS (he’ll be nearly 2) for the new year (when new bubs is ready to take over the nursery!) and am looking for an old fashioned china bedside lamp/nightlight. Do you know the kind? We had one that was a little house as children and it had a little orange bulb in it which just gave a soft glow from the windows. It’s not a reading light, just a night light…
Does anyone know anywhere over here that might sell them? I’ve seen a few online from the UK but they’re a fortune and some won’t send here.
Thanks! x

Im getting cosmicstarceilings.com done tomorrow, they are meant to be good as a nightlight, I’ll let you know tomorrow night what its likeOctober 23, 2009 at 7:53 pm #80182maisyMemberHi
We have a lovely little night light for our 3 year old that we got in ikea. Just gives a small glow of blue light, but it does come in different colours. He loves it, and has been a god send since he gave up his soother as it distracts him until he falls asleep (he likes turning it on and off and leaves it under the covers – it doesnt get hot). Think this link will work:October 24, 2009 at 8:35 am #80200louise789MemberThanks for the ideas girls. I might head to IKEA when the time comes as they seem to have a good selection of lights and I’ve heard blue is a good soothing colour for a nightlight. We’ve started using a little plug light over the past few days and it seems to be working OK though!
I really like the Gro Clock (not sure if you’ve seen it) but basically it shows a moon during the night with a blue face, and when it’s OK for them to get up (you set the time) the face changes to a yellow sunshine. Trouble is it’s about £40 so very expensive in my opinion!
Will keep looking out for a traditional one but otherwise at least I have a few other ideas now!
Thanks again! xx

I would HIGHLY recommend the ceilings, you are welcome to come and have a look check out http://www.cosmicstarceilings.com -
