Hi all,

Can anyone please recommend a good dentist in Newry (preferably as supposed to be cheaper!) or ROI.

There is a dentist in Balbriggan, Co. Dublin who match a lot of the northern prices, they are at Balbriggan Dental Clinic, main st Balbriggan. Worth a call and the guys in there are very nice too.

2 of my friends got work done (root canal), one in Newry the other in Balbriggan, we were going over the cost and time etc After going over the costs ie petrol, lunches, time…… going to Balbriggan worked out cheaper

That’s the only way to compare prices of anything……include all of the associated costs as well! Otherwise it’s like driving 50 miles to get petrol 2c per litre cheaper! 😉

Great dentist in Carrickmacross: Watters / Lenihan on Main Street (one man, one woman). Not a fan of dentists but both great.

Also had two wisdom teeth taken out in Newry. Think called South Down Dental Practice – or something like that. Beside Buttercrane. Very professional….

Thanks girls for your replies – I’m actually nearer to Newry then Balbriggan, so any more suggestions would be greatly appreciated. It’s for dental implants and root canal which will be costly enough, so need to shop around first.

Any other suggestions please. Tried South Down but you needed a referral from own dentist, so couldnt be bothered as I already know what needs to be done (was told at previous visits). Not going to spend more money just to be told same again iykwim.
