My 11yr old daughter had some birthday money and we went to Newry to get the latest Mario game for Nintendo DS.
£29.99 new but got for £24.99 second hand
€44.99 new in town.
Thats a big difference……at exchange rate of 87p to € thats €34.47 in Newry compared to €44.99….for 1 game!!!!
This was a big treat for her…….even she knew that she would get more for her birthday money in Newry. Its a real sign of the times when a child wants and knows how to hand in €50 to get sterling at a Currency Exchange booth.
like oap’s children don’t have to pay handling rates in a bank so they get more for their money.. send them in to get the best from your money
