A study has just revealed that in the world more people are dying from obesity than hunger.
I grew up with images of starving children in the world but now for the first time ever, more people are dying from obesity.
Its sad that there is enough food for everyone but some are dying from not having enough and now more than that, are dying from having too much.
Its a mixed up world we live in
Yes its extremes, thousands still dying everyday in the third world and in the 1st world the 2 of the biggest killer is heart and diabetes.
Its awful to think about people not having enough food – I get cranky if I go a few hours without eating so for this to be a regular occurrence must be horrendous. It is so sad, especially as there is enough to go around and there is so much waste, its awful that it cannot all be evened out somehow. 😥
