Article I wrote for today’s Health & Living, Irish Independent about miscarriage and the way our hospitals deal with the couples going through it. Not an easy one to write but with the recent death of Savita, felt this issue needs to be broached & discussed.

I saw the supplement & you look like a lovely family,you should frame those pictures that the paper took ,everybody looks great.

The poor photographer, it took over an hour to get those shots. Our baby washaving none of it. She pulled out her hair clip so many times that we gave up and left it out in the end of it – hence the mad hair!!

I must ask him if he can send it to us.

It was nice to have a happy photo to end of the piece in a happy way because it was quite sad.
