With our 3 little adventurers off for the next two weeks, its safe to say we won’t be getting much work done, so looking for ideas for things to do with them.

We are planning to go to:
    PJ’s play centre
    Ardgillen Castle
    Newbridge Farm

Not going to Tayto Park or Dublin Zooo on this break because my sister and her kids are coming home in a few weeks and we are doing them then instead.

Any other suggestions most welcome and things to do on a budget even better!!

    Thanks!

If we get some rainy days….we’ve been using those little boxes of Dr Oetker writing icing you can buy in supermarkets. Just sit down with the kids and a pack of plain biscuits and they can make faces and shapes etc to decorate the biscuits. We had loads of fun with these yesterday, the tubes are small,(lipgloss size) so absolutely ideal for little hands! Highly recommend those!

There is a parent & baby get together tomorrow morning (Tuesday 19th) at Gourmet Food Parlour in Ballyboughal. Eilis from Hey Baby! will be there tomorrow morning so lots of lovely food and quirky baby products makes this event ideal for parents with small babies.

Wednesday there is plenty on at PJ’s play centre, Balbriggan. We might get in there for an hour or two Wednesday morning.

dd is in the Drogheda Leisure Easter camp and having a ball
We have my fil over for Easter so going to chill and spend lots of quality time with him – the kids haven’t seen him since november so dd1 in particular is very excited, oh and going to check out Tayto park

went to Newgrange, monument not farm, the kids love it, great picnic area, cool little museum and bus trip to the monument. They love it inside it when the guide switch the lights off and does her demo with her torch. a few tourists but not too crowded.
i m going to tayto park on thursday, never been, looking forward to it even if it s not really a bargain

We did Newbridge today with the kids…. our first time….. 😳 and what a whale of a time we had! Absolutely brilliant. Kids had a ball with all the baby animals… and the quiz and the goodie bags! …. and we had a picnic… and of course the playground… such a great day out… sun shining…. will def be going back.
