Just spent a blissful week in Fuerteventura with the kids. Had a nice apartment in a great location on the outskirts of the town of Corralejo – nice and quiet and only a 5-10 min walk to all the amenities, shops and restaurants etc.
The apartment complex had kids club, nice pools and entertainment at night, although we went out most nights in to the village as there was plenty to do to keep the kids occupied there too. Place was very clean, did not see one cockroache all week, thank goodness because I cannot stand the sight of them
We got a great deal through Platinum and as it was our first family holiday in almost 3 years, we really really enjoyed it. Being in the sun was absolutely lovely and the kids were all complaining about coming home yesterday to the cold!
Big thanks to Paula at Platinum who looked after everything for us, she found us a great deal, flights with Aer Lingus, good flights times and sorted out our free insurance for us too.
Highly recommend Platinum for anyone who wants to book a holiday and definitely recommend Fuerteventura for families, so much to do there and the weather is gorgeous.
Just facing the pile of washing now – ah, back to reality with a bang!!!
