    Anam Cara is a national charity set up to help any parent (and or siblings) who have lost a child, no matter what age that child is (including an adult child) and regardless of how recent the loss is. If you want to remember that child and feel comfortable talking about them Anam Cara will provide the forum. If you just want to know that you are not alone, Anam Cara will give you access to other bereaved parents, resources, Self Help ideas.

    Louth /Meath area – The next meeting for ‘parents’ is on Wednesday, 9th September, from 7.30pm-9pm, in the Glenside Hotel, Dublin Road, Drogheda. (Ask at reception and they will direct you to where the group are ). All are very welcome.

    Sadly, this is a terrible reality that affects too many families and it is good to know there is supportout there for families who want and need it.

    Next meeting of Anamcara parental support is on this Wednesday, 11th November in the Glenside Hotel, 7.30pm-9pm.

    Anamcara hold their meetings for parents on the second Wednesday of the month from 7.30-9pm in the Glenside Hotel.

    The satellite groups offer bereaved parents an opportunity to meet with other bereaved parents in a relaxed, informal setting.
