    anyone know if u can a loan if your only on one parent family

    i’m sure you can check out citizen advice dependign on what type of loan check your bank credit rating etc….

    Nicky it is possible but can be difficult. My sister is a single parent and was on the FAS scheme and getting her lone parents allowance. The problem is some banks do not count any payments from the social welfare as income. If you have an income though you should qualify for something, depends as scole1 says on your credit rating.
    Talk to a broker it doesnt cost you anything.

    What about going in to talk to the credit union, as their lending criteria doesnt appear to be as strict as banks…good luck
