Anyone know why the Laurence town centre closed so early today? Hope it wasn’t for anything too serious. Not sure if it was weather driven?
not sure some have said glass roof collapse others have said burst pic and electricty…
i’m sure susan will be on to let us all know, hope everyone is ok and nobody hurt or too much damage
Hi all,
Just spoke with Susan Drumm, Laurence Town Centre Manager and she has confirmed that everything is fine at the centre now. They had to close earlier due to a burst pipe – which came about because of this week’s chronic weather conditions. It was for safety reasons, they had to close early, it was nothing dramatic and all is ok now.
The centre will open as normal at 9am tomorrow morning.
