Irish Language Course ??

Hi All,

I just wanted to know if anyone knew anywhere that did Irish Language course.
I am irish and ashamed to admit that my irish is not perfect even though i did honors in my leaving . I would love to be fluient in it and i want dd to be able to speak it.

anyone know if there is a course ?

Hi Almae, there are a few places in Dublin that do it, also the Gaelscoil will be starting back classes in September if your interested. There are 3 different classes, Beginners(no Irish at all). Intermediate(have basic words, i do this one, did my leaving cert 18 yrs ago), Advanced.

I’d suggest if you were interested in doing it that you try intermediate, and she would recommend if you needed to go to advanced. I night per week for an hour.

where is the gaelscoil ? God I would love that ,I say i would be able for the intermediate level. I did my leaving cert in 94 😳

the gaelscoil is on the mill road, they have irish language classes starting back in September. Feedback from them is that they are very good.

I run a local Irish Language PreSchool in the area too, for 3 year olds its great to get the children speaking it as early as possible. PM me if you want and i coul dpoint you in right direction to get started for both you and child!!

i am in Navan and I thought bing near Rathcairn I would be able to find a course but I cant 🙁

There is the Gaelscoil in Ashbourne as well…I am sure they do evening classes.
