What a stirring thing it is to be proud and Irish!!!

It’s a great to be securely satisfied in your nationality, well for you.

For the first time EVER in my life since I came here, I don’t mind being English (alright, and Scottish too in case my Glaswegian Daddy ever reads this – unlikely!)

Paddy’s Day tomorrow, you guys have a great country in many ways, some fab traditions and a warm welcome for all.

But since moving here, I’ve, maybe bizarrely some might say, have become happy enough asserting pride in my OWN nation and it’s achievements, although i’d be the first to acknowledge there’s PLENTY of downfalls there too.

So thank you Ireland and the Irish, all this patriotism has really rubbed off on me – if you can’t beat em, join em!!!
