Ingrown toenail?

How do you know if you have an ingrowing toe nail?

My nail on the big toe of my foot is sore and even though I cut my toe nails regularly, I feel like its growing into the top of the side of my toe

has anyone ever had this – what do you do?

Yes I’ve actually had surgery for ingrown toenails a few times, they are extremely painful! It is recommended that you don’t cut your nail straight across……try cutting a ‘v’ shape into the middle of it as this encourages the nail to try fill that space when its growing and helps to bring it back out……hth

My two children have had this , i brought them to the Chiropdist.. Tully in Trinity st drogheda, has a clinic in Balbriggan too ..

I was back and forth a few times, i found him extremly nice

I was just going to suggest cutting the V into your nail… My DH always said that, used to think he was mad but it does work!
