MemberI was just wondering if anyone has had this done before and what to expect? I was told it is fab and want to book one but just not sure what to expect. under normal circumstances i wouldn’t be into fullbody massage
but i thought a head massage might be interesting.

InactiveTranquility Salon in Bryanstown do Indian Head Massages. The salon is lovely and the girls are very well trained and excellent at what they do.
If you give them a call and explain what you would like, they can go through the different types of massage and treatments that would suit you. If you let them know you’re a Mumstown member there are often special offers on massage for us.
You can get Aoife or any of the girls on 041-9844267.
Hope that helps.

KeymasterI’ve personally had an Indian Head Massage from Tranquility and it was fab. I’m not a great one for all over massage sometimes, so I like that the Indian Head is concentrated on the head, neck & shoulders.
You don’t need to strip off, you can even keep your bra on and you are covered up, warm & snug with only the top part of you exposed, which I find very relaxing.
Reflexology is also great, as this only focuses on the feet and lower legs
Highly recommend either one, its amazing when you are having your head or feet massaged how it relaxes you all over – you’ll sleep great that night too, which is another bonus.
If you are not sure, give the girls a call and ask for some advice. I’ve recently been through a rough couple of weeks so I went for a combination of massage there two weeks ago and my favourite part was the head massage, I love it. I try to get my husband to do it for me but he never gets it right (and he only does it for 2 mins before his arm gets tired!!) which is why I go to the pro’s! 😆 😆

MemberHi Misseymum,
Indian Head Massage is a great stress reliever. If you are not comfortable in geting undressed it is probabally one of the better treatments for you.
As Sabbi said you can leave your bra on if you wish. The treatment concentrates on the tension areas, around the shoulders, up the neck & into the scalp. It is important to do the shoulders & neck & not to just concentrate on the scalp because a lot of problems can originate in the neck & shoulders & travel up to the head causing tension headaches.
The treatment typically takes 30 mins, about 10 is spent on the neck & shoulders & the rest on the scalp. It is a great stress reliever & you’ll feel great afterwards!
If you want any more information don’t hesitate in contacting me.
