    Hi
Thinking of travelling with family end of Aug. 22-31st, flying into Malaga.
Anyone any recommendations on accomodation – hotels or apartments? probably need 2 bed as there is 5 of us (two teenagers & toddler), cheapest option possible. Want to stay in a resort, as close to the centre of things as possible & beside the beach…need to keep teenagers happy & entertained for some peace for myself. Toddler will be happy with beach & pool! wanna do as little driving as possible.
All resort & accomodation recommendations greatly appreciated. I always feel it’s best coming from some-one who’s experienced it for themselves.
    Thanks!

Hi Viv. I checked out sunset beach hotel and it looks great, but we’d have to rent two one-bed apts, because there are five of us and it makes it very expensive, pity!

Hi Noleen. So you had enough room. I was thinking if twin bedroom, and double settee bed, where wouldthe 5th (toddler sleep)? And if Sunset ok with it, then me too, it halves the price!!

    Hi Wonderwoman,

I’d be delighted to forward some suggestions to you including costs.

There are some great free child offers at the moment so I’ll have a look at availability.

So as I’m sending you accurate costs, can you let me know the ages of your teenagers and toddler?

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Kindest regards,
    Paula.

    Hi
Sabbi, No not sorted yet. Sunset came back and said max occ for one bed was 4 (in caps!!) and offered two bed for €1700, self catering for 9 nights, i think is a little expensive! Where are you staying?

HM, that was a grt price!

We got a fab deal, going to Corralejo in Fuerteventura, 2 bed apartment in a lovely complex (we stayed near it last time and know its nice) with pools, shops etc and 5 mins walk into the town.

For the 5 of us with flights, transfers, luggage and insurance for a week it came in at just over 1,400. Last time we went, 3 years ago, we paid almost 2,000 for pretty much the same holiday, so feel we did really well with Platinum Travel on this one.

And they give free travel insurance for all Mumstown members.

My mum has been looking into a holiday in Turkey and to book it all separately its 467 without travel insurance and with Platinum its 474 with the travel insurance! She called up about travel insurance and was quoted 59 euro, because she is over 55, so reckon she will go with them too. Good value and a lot less hassle!
