I started off with great momentum this year but it has kinda grinded to a halt! must get back into the swing of it though, hate that last minute rushing around and the pressure invovled. i love to enjoy xmas week just doing family stuff and socialising.November 9, 2009 at 1:42 pm #81240GrainneMember
Last year we spent about 2 months trying to source the best deals on all our santa stuff but it was a nightmare getting babysitters and travelling the country looking for toys. 🙄
I found out this year that smyths are really the cheapest and best toy store to go to for all your things. They are always doing deals and they have trolleys which is a great help.
I decided on the santa toys about 3 months ago. Last week i left the kids with their nana, into smyths with my trolley, got everything i needed in 40 mins and saved €38 on some of the toys that were on offer.
Which leaves me stress-free, €38 up for some btles of wine and a very happy mammy. 😀 😀
So i just thought i’d pass my stress-free, money saving story onto mums that just wanna get it over and done with and maybe a few btles of wine to boot!! 😉 😀November 9, 2009 at 1:47 pm #81241Jenny!!!Member

NO, NADA, RIEN, ZILCH, ZIPPO, ABSOLUTELY FECK ALL!!!
And I like it that way, nothing more fun than the pressure of pressie-hunting at the last minute!
But I am cutting back in a major way this year. Back to basics and all that, makes it easier – they get to much anyway!
