I bought some uniform items in Swords last week at the retailer recommended by our school and they were very expensive. A jumper for my son was 22.50; a tracksuit for my daughter was 29.50.
This week I was in Drogheda looking for a cardigan for my daughter (which cost 21.50 in Swords but they were out of stock of her size) and I found THE EXACT SAME UNIFORMS ITEMS at HALF THE PRICE!!!
The Children’s shop on West st sold me a cardigan for 12 euro and I picked up a second jumper for my son (he is a mucky little sod at times and needs 2) – I got the jumper for 12 euro also!
So basically, the uniforms were half the price locally. Unfortunately, the Children’s shop does not do tracksuits but there is another shop on Shop st that sells them and they seem reasonably priced too.
Raging I went to Swords as recommended and wish I had bought all items locally. I know where I’ll be buying them in future!!!
