I am in Bettystown, if you are in the Drogheda area, I will travel to you for lessons. The lessons will typically last about 30 minutes and will be charged at 20 Euros. They will be tailored to the individuals taste in music.

    PM me if you’re interested.

If that is one to one tuition, I think you have a very good deal there. It wouldn’t be worth my while to offer tuition at that rate.

    Taylor…

What you are not taking into account is the lesson preparation… PRIOR to meeting the student. So, whilst there is a 30min lesson, the time tailoring to each student far exceeds that.

    But, question answered…..

We wanted to see if there would be an interest……
apparantly not. So, lets leave it at that.

When giving lessons you have to take into account the preparation yes, but also the demand.
I teach french, and to have some grinds to give I’m very cheap (cheaper than your offer, but I really need to have few hours to give, my hours have been cut in the school), and I also have a lot of preparation work.
The only thing is I charge a bit more if I have to travel.

Most of the times people will prefer to pay less and come to me (it saves me the traveling time and petrol).

    Good luck with it.

    Thanks Fabienne… 😉

DH just wanted to ascertain demand, hence the question… 😉
Whether he decides to pursue it, is his choice!

    I’m not getting involved! 😕

Hope he’ll get more demand later.
I know few persons who don’t start activities in sept as it’s always a settling time.
Maybe in a few month he should post it again and he’ll get more response.
Best of luck for pursuit of his venture.

It took me years for my french grinds to take off. Now people will contact me.
    He should stay optimistic,
and yes it’s always best not toget involved with partners business….. it’s the success of an happy family. Support yes, involment not too much 😆

    Take care,
    Fabienne
