HI All, are there any nice open green spaces in Drogheda? I have a two year old who wants to run! We like St Dominics park well enough for the playground but I don’t really like going on the grassy area as there always seems to be glass and cans thrown around. Thanks.
Polly.
Of the top of my head, probably the nicest, cleanest and safest place I can think of is at the Oldbridge Battle Of the Boyne site. If you are not going in to the house and museum it is free to go on to the grounds.
There is a coffee and snack shop there too.
Plenty of space there no traffic and no broken glass.
