My daughter wants from Santa a "cottage" like this one

but I know she won’t really play with it. So I’m not getting it (she asked for it last year as well).
I think she likes the idea in the ad of the 2 girls playing in it.

or what about a little pop up tent for girls….my ds loves playhouses and loved them from when he was small too and even now, we have a school house, wigwam, and buzzlightyear tent, each get a take out every so often….handy as they can be taken down and put under a couch

We have to pop-up tents, not used. That’s not what she wants.
Plus the cottage is sold empty you have to double the price to have the seat + fake appliances….
I’m not getting it for her.
Too expensive, and I know she’ll play with it 2 weeks tops.
She wants a girl not her brother to play with her inside.

This year Santa will bring :
– 1 Wii with 3 games (1 adult game, 2 kids)
– 1 monopoly game (bought last year, never gave it)
– 1 cd book from Usbourne each
– 1 activity/coloring book

in the stockings :
– 1 yoyo
– 1 box of cereals
– 1 chocolate santa
– toothbrush

that’s it. Even if I know that I might get tiny extra along the way.
Don’t want to spend more, we’re taking the kids skiing combine with families visit.

Fabienne THATS IT!!!! I THINK THATS ALOT….. more then what my kids are getting 😆 😆 😆 😆
we did the yoyo last year and still played with.. we put toothbushes and pj’s into the stocking every year too
DO THE KIDS OF TODAY REALLY NEED SANTA TO VISIT? We were allowed to put ONE thing onour list and then we got a surprise and the house/garden got a big share toy….but that was it regarding toys for the whole year. Its like xmas everyday nowdays

Thats a rip off regarding the house, you have to add all the bits in! I hate that, of course people wouldnt buy an empty house….. i thought it looked like a good price but not when you take into account the extras.
