Hi all, we were back to Temple Street yesterday with Hailey for her check up with respiratory specialist & she has advised us to get the flu vaccination with her GP. Hailey is 22 months old.I was wondering has anyone else’s child had to have the flu vaccination at such a young age?.

Ours have not had it but it sounds like it might be a good idea for Hailey with her medical history.

I’ll ask around and see if anyone else had has for for their LO

Hi my DD is 4 and she has got it the last three years!
Same as yourself I was advised to by the respiratory clinic in temple street!
She has never had any bother with it and has never got the flu
She got her last one there on wed!
    Hope that helps!

    Thanks for that Wobbit.

She has a bit of a chest infection at the moment do you know do they prefer for her to be in full health before getting the vaccination?.

Yea as far as I can remember they won’t do it if child is unwell but I’m not 100% sure! Lol! Best bet would be to ring up your doc office and ask them!
