First time taking in an au pair – looking for advice

We are currently looking for an au pair.
This isour first time with this sort of arrangement so we would welcome any advice from those of you with previous experience, do’s and don’ts, that sort of thing.

first of all you have to know what you expect from au pair.
what her "duties" are 😀
i would suggest writing a list of things you want her to do and what is not acceptable.
had couple of friends who were au pairs, and they were saying, that if you know what is expected from you that makes the whole stay in someones home much more relaxing and it’s so much easier to avoid potential conflicts.
