I know your kids are all varing ages but I got my partner a book from lovetoread.co.uk last year from Hailey & he loved it.it is a book they could read together (you put in the words) & you upload your photos to it so it makes a really nice personal gift.

This year he has hinted at slippers & chocolate so far! 😆

Is that a bit like Star Stories? They are an Irish company who makes personalised books.

Here is an idea for you guys – There is a brilliant little book called ‘My Dad’ by Anthony Browne. Its funny, extremely well illustrated (the pics are so funny!) and is a fab gift. We got it for my husband about 9 years ago and it still gets pulled out and read all the time by the kids. Dads & kids love it because its so funny…

Easons have it for about 8 euro, here is the link: http://www.easons.com/p-6517-my-dad.aspx

We did this a few years ago for the Grandad’s for Father’s day and it went down a treat. They looked cute but mors importantly, the kids loved painting the mugs. Those mugs have held many a cuppa over the years!!

i know for my own dad the thing he loves is having us all together – we’re getting him a voucher for m&s (his choice) BUT he doesn’t know he’s going to my sisters for lunch on sat but myself and my other sister will turn up with the kids in tow for tea and cake and fun & laughter after their lunch

my own hubby ……to be honest we tend not to do gifts it’s more a token for the girls to give him – he needs slippers badly so it’s a new pair of slippers and a smelly gift set (one i know he’ll use 😉 )
