    Just report the spam & you won’t get it again. It is annoying.

    Gmail is great for stopping spam alright.

    I get tonnes of these aswell. I recently purchased a virus package called antivirus 2009 and the payment went through billinware.net Absolute scam! I am not silly when it comes to internet scams but I have to say that one caught me. I sent an few emails and to my surprise they keep replying but im still waiting for my refund! 🙄

    Hi Girls,

    Sounds like you are all getting loads of spam! There a couple of things that you should be aware of:

    1) If you don’t know who it is from – delete it – there could be a virus attached
    2) Your service provider should be able to block any spam
    3) If it is a legitimate company – they have have a box at the bottom asking you to reply if you do not want to receive any more emails – alternatively, if you just email them and tell them not to send you any more, they are legally oblidged to remove you from their mailing list – the same goes for unsolicited phone calls from market research companies – tell them not to contact you again and they must not.
    4) Get a good anti-virus software – there are some freebies out there. The should check for spam and also spyware(some websites use spyware – they can copy any details that you enter into other websites and send it back to them – watch out for your visa no.)
