This is a fantastic way to find out of breastfeeding is for you, its great for mums-to-be to head along and chat with the mums who are feeding and get advice and ask questions.

Its a lovely location too, nice and quiet in the upstairs of Costa Coffee, they have a quiet space and many of the chairs have comfy arms – which is a must for mums who are holding babies to give their arms some support (as new mums will soon find out, feeding a baby can be tiring without something to lean on!)

Fair play to Jacqueline for helping keep this get together going, it is a great support to many mums around Dundalk and I’ve heard lots of mums say it gave them the support they needed to keep going with bf 😀

Pookie, if you make it on Thursday Feb 3rd for the parent & baby get together at the Bagel Bar please come and say hello. Last month I went up to a mum-to-be and asked her if she was pookie and she looked at me like she thought I was a nutter 😆 😆

she may have a point I suppose!!

😀 Guess a few pointers might help!!

I’m small & usually slimish – apart from the current basketball bump – with shoulder length straight brown hair.

I generally look frazzled & usually look like I’ve just been pulled backwards through a bush by a rampaging gorilla – man, I envy those women who look ‘groomed’ all the time. How DO they do it?

And I’m no good with shoes – if a possible target is wearing stylish, high heel designer footwear, it ain’t me! 😥

And as for co-ordination….. matching socks 😥 😥

    I blame four brothers….
