Hope it doesn’t come back after this one, but might give ye a buzz if worst happens. If ever fancy a coffee etc in Dundalk, Taylor5, & a ear, give us a shout. Had it with first guy & know how rotten it is. A wee change of scene can be a bit of a boost.

Taylor 5, once I’m up & about again, feel free to pm me if you’d like to meet for a walk or anything. I have a car & my boys are in creche, so when hubby is away I am a free agent in middle of day. Won’t push the invite on you, but keep it in mind if you are having a bad day, ok?

Good of you to set this up, Dordor. The hardest thing about PND is that you look fine & people don’t realise how hard you are trying just to keep things together…

    Anyone in the Navan area?
I don’t have a car, so I rarely leave Navan, but I am suffering from pnd and looking for contacts. Might be nice and helpful to find support in each other.

    Take care

Thanks Maria im only seeing this post now…

Pookie what you said is sooo true, its so hard just to keep things ticking along and looking normal, only someone with pnd would know that…. a few of my friends have pnd and they are my rock in bad times

Biccy there is a pnd support group & website & they can almost certainly put you in contact with someone in your area. It is based in Cork, but nationwide. Just google it

    Hi all,

It’s fantastic to see groups like this – people coming together to foster a sense of community and support one another. Feeling isolated can only intensify the distress of feeling depressed after a birth and such groups go a long way in breaking that.

    Best wishes,
    Joe.
