    Hi All

    I have been trying to set up a discount card in Drogheda since last summer but have not gotten much further on!

    This discount card will see all proceeds going to SOSAD, a chairty I’m sure a lot of you are aware of!

    Basically we are asking local shops and businesses to get involved and offer to give a %(5 or 10%) off a purchase in their store on presentation of one of these discount cards (Rather like a student card)

    The cards will be sold in the town at a fixed price, Maybe betwen 10-20 euro, and will be valid for a year. The card will then entitle the user to a number of discounts in local shops.I also feel that it will encourage people to shop local as well as raising much needed funds!
