Do you think the health & weight of James Reilly (and Mary Harney before him) is an issue for being the Minister for Health?

Should they be healthy living people with a healthy BMI or does it matter that they were both overweight going into the job?

I think in that role, they should be setting an example. I don’t think it affects their ability to do the job but they should make more of an effort to look after their health.#

    what do you think?

No I don’t think their weight should matter – if they started to specify they had to be in a certain bmi for a role, it would not be good!

Once they are able to fulfil the role properly..

I think it’s a bit hypocritical if you don’t practice what you preach. 😀
