Guys this wanted to flag this to anyone thinking of buying a DS on Ebay. I bid for 2 DS’s and games back in July for the boys birthday. The 2 costs me only €160 in total and included 2 of the chip cards with about 70 games on each. The DS’s however are not authentic. The first DS stopped working after 1 week so i contacted the seller who requested i send it back for repair as it was guaranted. Needless to say i havent heard from him since i sent it back and he no longer is listed on ebay. Unfortunately i didnt contact Ebay within the required time.
The 2nd DS, on of the boys broke the screen so i sent it off to a console repair shop, i just got a call from them asking me where i purchased it from starting that it was not make up of authentic DS hardware. I have to pay €50 to have the screens replaced. I dont mind this as the screen was actually broken.
Just be on the look out, dont by anything from Hong Kong, my 2 were stopped by customs and i had to pay for them to be released. This was about €40, which brought the cost of the 2 ds’s up to €200.
