do you use a childminder or creche and why one over the othe

Hi

Just wondering what the thinking is out there from parents who use childcare services be that creche or childminders.

Do people have good or bad experiences with either and what would they change if they could. Do they feel they are getting value for money and quality care at the same time.

Are parents aware of what training childcare providers have(creche or childminders), do they ask or do they assume all childcare workers are trained and qualified.

I work as a childminder now but had my own children minded by my Mum when I was working (I was very lucky she didn’t work herself and wanted to help with childcare for us). I missed my chidren terrible when I was working and even though I enjoyed working I loved getting up to see them on my lunch break.

I have never used a creche but my children did go to a montessori and playschool in the mornings…….
