Lots of write ups about the rubbish in Drogheda Indo and in the Leader, one particular letter fromthe manager of the D hotel who was showing potential business clients around Drogheda this weekend!!!
it was like a maze trying to get through certain parts of the town today with dog poo covering the path i had to keep swerving my sons buggy, it wouldn’t hurt people to clean it up i agree with you Canucklass, i mean what if we let our babies or children go the toilet in the middle of footpaths or in the grass areas around our town, we have to clean up after them why should dog owners get away with destroying our town…i say dog owners have it easy they just need a bag to clean it up but we need nappies, wipes and bags…..i know this rant might be a bit strange and i am in no way comparing our children with dogs its just an example 🙄 …it just makes me mad 👿
joey i know how you feel i hate walking on the footpaths to with all the dog poo specially when dd is going on the school bus or any other child for that matter disgusting 👿 i seen a man before with his 2 dogs and one of them pooed on the path and he kicked it out on to the road ( it was only a small dog with little poo but still ❗

When I lived on the Northside of the town, I hated walking to the shops as it was full of dog poo…. found the yellowbatter and ballymakenny road littered with landmines.
All the litter warden needs to do is last a few 1300euro fines out, it will be front page new and it will scare the shit (sorry for the pun) out of the dog walker or more so the dogs who wander free
