Hate them – But had to give in today… i never have experience pain so bad….
I have a blister on gum under tooth – on antibotic and pain killers for 5 days..

Then i need root canal treatment and a crown – got an estimate of €1200.. i’m in shock

Any cheapers prices or recommendations of dentists up the north please

check out prices up the north…my brother has his wisdom teeth removed and got braces up there and i know it worked out far cheaper..
some dentists here will match quotes from the north too…if you prefer to shop local…dental work is crazy money.

We usually go to Balbriggan Dental Clinic, they match Northern prices on some of their treatments so worth a look.

If you feel nervous about the dentist, ask for James, I am terrified to go to the dentist but he is so sweet, always calms me down and never makes me feel silly for being nervous.

God 1200 thats much better then the 2.5k i got 2 years ago, no way was i paying that so i got the tooth out for 30euro… sorry im such a scab 😆 😆

went to balbriggan dentist today, finally got the courage to, after a hell night of pain so much so i cried myself back to sleep and woke up the kids, so i went, i’m on antibiotics and have decided to have it pulled next week…

nervous about it but i have to say the guy was so so nice…i’m hoping to build up the courage and just go and get my teeth sorted, i’ve a few fillings, a good clean and maintainence should see me right….

oh why do so many of us have fears of dentists it’s terrible…honestly i’d rather give birth than go to the dentist, but today the pain over took and i knew there was no going away from it unless i went

Last year I was given the root canal and crown €1200 option. I got it out for €40. (Had a root canal treatment done years ago and swore never again unless a gap was going to be really noticeable).

Getting it out was over in minutes and was painless – which I couldn’t believe given how much pain I was in. And then bliss – no more pain and I could sleep again at night.

(I brought a bottle of water with me into which I had put 2 homeopathic pillules – Nelsons brand as they dissolve in water – of Arnica 30c (for shock and bruising), Calendula 30c (to speed up the healing of the wound and prevent infection) and Hypercium 30c (to heal any nerves). I started taking sips of this as soon as I was out of the denist.) Aconite 30c to take before might ease the anxiety. Again if you put 2 pillule in a bottle of water and sip as needed.

Good luck scole 1. You’ll be so pleased and proud of yourself when you have it over and done with.
