CBOI NOW RECRUITING NEW MEMBERS FOR 2011/2012 SEASON
The CBOI was set up in 1995 as a means of uniting young people from different backgrounds and communities on both sides of the Border, the orchestra is now made up of 150 young people aged 12 – 24 years from places as far apart as North Antrim, Wicklow and even Cork. The CBOI is now recruiting new members for their 2010/2012 season. Members should be between 12 and 24 years. There is no audition procedure. Applications are invited for all string, brass, percussion and woodwind players (except flute). Places are also available for Harp players. The CBOI’s annual summer workshop which is for members only will take place on 19th – 21st July in the Dundalk Institute of Technology.
