    ANN MARIE HORGAN FROM ALL PETS VETERINARY HOSPITAL
    NAMED NETWORK LOUTH BUSINESS WOMAN OF THE YEAR

    Network Louth is delighted to announce that Ann Marie Horgan, owner of All Pets Veterinary Hospital in Drogheda has been named Network Louth Self Employed Business Woman of the Year for 2010 and Dorothy Walsh from Dorothy J. Walsh & Company Solicitors has won the Network Louth New Business of the Year Award. The awards were presented by Gavin Duffy at the Network Louth Business Awards & Christmas dinner in Scholars Townhouse Hotel in Drogheda.
    Ann Marie Horgan, Owner, Director and Head Vet from All Pets Veterinary Hospital http://www.allpets.ie won the Network Louth New Business of the Year Award in 2009. She opened All Pets clinic in 2006 and was awarded hospital accreditation by the Veterinary Council of Ireland, the highest merit possible. Ann Marie’s business has gone from strength to strength over the past 4 years as a result of her devotion, personal attention, dedicated staff and commitment to offering the highest possible standards to clients andpatients while minimising costs. All Pets currently has five full time employees as well as three part-time staff.

They will go forward to represent Network Louth at the national Network Ireland awards in 2011.”

    The Network Louth Business Woman of the Year award is open to empowered women who are self-employed for more than 3 years. They must demonstrate business spirit and business acumen and have developed a business idea from concept to commercial success. The category is open to women who have their own businesses e.g. Accountants, Solicitors, Dentist, Doctors, artists, partnerships or any other industry trade or profession. The category aims to award outstanding achievement, innovative business concept, growth and good management skills. To be successful in this category, business women had to demonstrate that they had clear goals to support their vision for the future.

    The New Business of the Year Award category is for inspired women, who have established a business within the last 3 years and are embarking on an exciting new path in life with a fledgling business that demonstrates huge potential. This category aims to award emerging entrepreneurs that have the potential to grow their companies into successful organisations which will be innovative, create employment and have the ability to win the Network (self employed) Business Woman of the year Award in the future.

    The 2010 awards were judged by Orlaith Carmody Duffy from Aerga Productions & Media Training.ie, Maureen Ward from Maureen Ward Consulting and Nicola Watkins from Nicola Watkins Public Relations.
