Inactive“Sinbad & The Sea Pirates”, the spectacular seasonal pantomime at the Everyman Palace, Cork opens on Saturday 4th December and runs until January 9th and the producers are promising a show full of thrills, spoils and fantastic, exotic adventures. The Everyman Traditional Pantomime, presented by Catherine Mahon Buckley and her team at CADA, is set to be the highlight of the holiday season at the home of live theatre. ¬¬As well as being the best value for money panto in town, the Everyman Palace Theatre has amended the times of its evening performances to suit all the family with performances from Monday to Friday starting at 7.30pm and Saturday, Sunday performances starting at 6.30pm.
Blackbeard has cheated the Royal Family of Fiji of their treasure – so, Sinbad (Sean Carey, of RTÉ’s Fame), vows to return the treasure to its rightful owners, but, Blackbeard and his crew hatch an evil plan to sink the ship in rough seas and steal the treasure.
Meanwhile, Sinbad’s cook, Polly Unsaturate (Jim Mulcahy, Cork’s favourite Dame), will be cooking up a side-splittingly funny show, with recipes of all kinds to make audiences youngand old laugh out loud!
With loads of audience participation and the jolliest of jokes, the same crazy crew who brought you Aladdin in Christmas 2009 will bring the beloved tale of Sinbad to life like never before.
