    Any one got a recipe for a simple fool proof christmas pudding – i would love to try and make one this year, small one as i am the only one that eats it..

    It does work out cheaper to buy nowdays, but the pleasure of making your own is great, dont mind those lazy moos 🙄 😆 😆 😆

    my mum has a great recipe which she says is foolproof… even i could do it!!!!
    i’ll get it off her next time i see her and post it up
    never been a fan of the bought ones… homemade all the way!

    I’ll second that, it was always great fun when mam would be baking the xmas cakes and doing the puddings… we would getto stir the pudding and make a wish 😆

    noone in my house eats pudding but i think i might still make one. i love the smell of it cooking. really christmassy.

    we used to do the same at home. we would all stir and make wishes. it used to be great.

    I like the whole idea of dd stirring the mixture and throwing in coins……………………………….sounds christmassy alright 😆

    We never put coins in pudding but we did in brack!
    The only thing that went into my mams pub was lashing of brandy

    It sound’s so easy to go and but one

    I thought it would be great to make one with the kids , i remember how much i enjoyed these activites with my family when i was younger.

    I always make the Christmas cards, but last year i said never again.

    So maybe if i make the cards , i could buy a pudding or maybe my step mom will make me one.

    I am just so tired this weather, work is mad buzy at the moment…

    Thank god, tomorrow is thursday my last day at work…

    My mam cheat if she buys a pudding, she tastes a bit and if it tastes shop bought, she lashes a bit of brand to give it a home made taste

    2seasons have great card making kits for 2 euro

    think i will get my cards from DAR do they haev a stall in town centre selling them or was that my imagination?
