    Hi all,

Wonder if you can help me. I’m organising my son’s christening for May and am trying to get a cake sorted. Trying to be traditional we saved the top tier of our wedding cake for this occasion so am looking for someone to re-ice and decorate it as I don’t want to ruin it by trying to do a DIY job on it!!

Any ideas of anyone who might be able to help? We’re fairly new to the area and my son is only 11 weeks old so this is a whole new world for me!!

    Thanks in advance, Louise.

Coulter and Black on the Tullyallen road should be able to do this for you ..they are so reasonable and do a wonderful job.

Just ordered birthday cake for my sister’s 40th birthday from coulter + black. Some of there designs were fab.my sister is mad into shopping so they designed a cake with her sitting down with the dress colour she wearing at the party plus her hair colour plus shopping bags with her favourite shop names on them. The christening cakes were lovely as well i dont think you could go wrong by calling them.

Thanks Loulou! I am going to check out C&B in Tullyallen tomorrow but if not I will definitely give these guys in Ardee a go.. Failing that I will be sending my hubby in that direction in June for my birthday cake seeing as they specialise in anything chocolatey!!!!!!!! x

Probably a bit late too, we too had our top tier as DD christening cake and I brought it back to the lady that made it and she made a brilliant job with it….

I’d like to recommend Black & Coulter in Tullyallen too. I always get my cakes there. They’re great at doing novelty cakes. Here’s a sample.
